Here's one idea. Redditer Harland45 posted a hilarious mock-up on Reddit Monday showing what many of our microwaves would look like if they were honest about how we were using them.
Look, reheating half bags of Pizza Rolls is an exact science, people. So is heating up two hot pockets at once! And how fun/dangerous would it be to tell your microwave to "go until I stop you"? We need these custom settings to exist!
