A student celebrating her recent graduation from the University of California, Los Angeles was killed by a taxi after running across Wilshire Blvd. early Saturday morning.
The victim was Melissa Del-Aguila, 24, of West Los Angeles.
Del-Aguila had been seen with friends at Q's Billiards in West Los Angeles around 1 a.m., according to the Santa Monica Police Department. It is believed that she had not driven there, and it is unclear how she traveled to Santa Monica.
