America's Health: By The Numbers

How does America's health today compare to a year ago? A decade ago?

New numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shed some light on the question.

The National Health Interview Survey, conducted every year, shows that in most areas Americans have declined, health-wise, over the last decade.

But there are some bright spots: smoking is down, and more people are exercising in their free time.
