New York Gay Marriage: Our Favorite Celebratory Tweets

New Yorkers celebrated last night after Governor Cuomo signed the Gay Marriage Bill, and of course, many people took to twitter to mark the occasion. The reaction ranged from good-natured jokes to ecstatic engagement announcements and everything in between. The general consensus: It was a good night to be a New Yorker. From what I understand, she was being sarcastic and was referring to the arguments used by some anti samesexmarriage people, where they equate the samesexmarriage right to marrying ani mals.
