Rick Santorum To Glenn Beck: 'There Is No Such Thing As Global Warming,' 'Drill Everywhere' (VIDEO)

Rick Santorum Glenn Beck Global Warming Oil

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 06/25/11 09:23 PM ET Updated: 08/25/11 06:12 AM ET

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum further expressed his strong convictions on global warming in a recent interview with Fox News' Glenn Beck.

On Thursday's show, when asked about global warming, Santorum told Beck, "There is no such thing as global warming," apparently much to Beck's delight.

Earlier in the month Santorum told Rush Limbaugh that global warming was "junk science."

Questioned about oil by Beck, Santorum boldly stated, "Drill everywhere," and proceeded to declare that there is enough oil, coal and natural gas to last centuries.

... This unfolding environmental catastrophe is the result of decades of over paid 'american' politicians who only have sufficient education to listen to "wall street"...

... The dollar sign and the stock market are the only things politicians 'think' have significance in LIFE!... their ECO awakening crash course is not going to be as comfortable as their wet bars and golf courses...

... Any high school science student can understand and explain Ocean Acidification perfectly... but then... someone would need to be able to Listen...

We depend upon our oceans for Life on this planet...

However... climate change is disrupting the ocean’s ecosystem and its abilities to provide these services...

Global Warming or not, this guy is a total nut-job. While espousing to be a Tea Partying loyal right wing-nut Born Again Christian, he and his wife ABORTED a 20 week fetus. "According to Karen Santorum's book, Letters to Gabriel: The True Story of Gabriel Michael Santorum, she later developed a life-threatening intrauterine infection and a fever that reached nearly 105 degrees. She went into labor when she was 20 weeks pregnant and allowed doctors to give her Oxytocin to end the pregnancy. Then, according to Karen Santorum's book (about the experience: Letters to Gabriel: The True Story of Gabriel Michael Santorum) the couple brought the deceased infant home from the hospital and introduced the dead child to their living children as "your brother Gabriel" and slept with the body overnight before returning it to the hospital. " While I have no problem with the couple deciding to terminate the pregnancy to save the Mom's life, I do have a problem with the pious right wing anti-abortion stance (except when it applies to you). Also, making your children pass the dead baby around is CHILD ABUSE. What is wrong with these people??

This is a terrifying narrative. It gave me shivers. I'm afraid for this country. What is the difference between the extreme fundamentalist right wing faction in our country and the Taliban? What is the difference between "Christian" and "Muslim" terrorism? What has spawned this terror, and how can we resolve it?

Organize and take a stand. Every time anyone says neocon are for less intrusive government call them out on it. The biggest lie ever told was that Repubicans are for smaller government and every knows it. Its time people of rationl thought openly chastise anyone who propel's the small government myth of neocons. GOPers want to take government out of the boardroom and put it right in the bedroom, governing the most intimate aspects of our existence. Every GOP government has seen monumental increases in levels of intrusiveness and in scope, and their defecit spending the worst.

A mad person calls everybody mad except his own self. This is my assessment of the person those who gossip Global warming is fake. I now find imperative to establish a rest room in every state.

In addition will follow these Presidential candidates because I will not be allowed to climb up on the stage but when they are made to leave the stage finally for being below standard material unfit to become US President, I will cordially welcome them with flower when they come down the steps.

I definitely will find Rick Santorum will be the one among many others I will be honored to welcome him below the stage on behave of Junk science.

Actually, there is no such thing as a Rick Santorum.

So, we can ignore whatever is said between two non entities.
02:16 PM on 06/28/2011
Saying that "there is no such thing as global warming" makes Santorum a bad Roman Catholic, given that the Pope acknowledges the scientific consensus.

And of course we all know Rick has a science degree in.....wait.......

Mr. Santorum believes, as do many on the right, that scientific facts are matters of personal belief, and may therefore be accepted or rejected without more. Under that approach, it is perfectly reasonable for me to say that there is no such thing as Rick Santorum.

In that case you might as well say there is no such thing as anything. He is living in a dream world. I love the look the interviewer gave the camera after the dumb dumb said there is no such thing as global warming. Priceless!
