I work in a cubicle from 9 - 6 for next to nothing. A nice stream of audiobooks would do well to ease the discomfort.

I love listening to audio books while cleaning house, cooking, driving, working in the yard...keeps boredom at bay.

Between my kindle and my IPod, I am always entertained. So much so, that I was inspired to write my own book, which is currently in the hands of a publisher for review.

Now, if I could just write off all the money I have spent on my reading obsession :>

There's too many distractions for me to appreciate audio books. I often have to replay the parts I missed. A comfy chair and book (or e-reader) suits me fine.

Several years ago I discovered the joy of being able to 'read' a book while doing something else...driving, working in the yard, cleaning out a closet, etc. I've been doing it long enough to evolve from books on tape to books on CD. May I suggest a site http://www.paperbackswap.com. Yes, it's a 'swapping' of books and CDs and now DVDs...it's free; you only pay shipping...media rates. Tell 'em I sent you ;)
