Gay Marriage In New York Gets Animated (VIDEO)

WATCH: Gay Marriage Gets Animated

It was only a matter of time before the New York gay marriage saga got animated.

Next Media's cartoonish coverage begins with four Republican state senators, pictured as elephants, who broke with their party to endorse the gay marriage bill.

They are pulled in different directions by gay rights advocates, including Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) and Conservative Party Chairman Michael Long, who promised not to endorse any candidate who backed the bill.

The animation then moves to President Obama, courting LGBT rights supporters during a fundraiser in New York. Illuminating and entertaining.
