Glenn Beck Attacked? 'Hostile Situation' At Bryant Park (VIDEO)

WATCH: Glenn Beck Says He And His Family Were Attacked

Glenn Beck says he and his family were attacked during a showing of Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps at Bryant Park in New York City.

Last night, Beck and his family were sitting on their American flag blanket when the conservative pundit said he encountered a "hostile situation."

"Someone kicked a cup of wine intentionally onto my wife's back," Beck said. "As my daughter went to use the restroom, some guy stood up and pointed his finger and said, 'we hate conservatives here!'"

Beck said he believes things could have been much worse for his family if they had lost their cool.

"I swear to you I think, if I had suggested, and I almost did, “Wow, does anybody have a rope? Because there’s tree here. You could just lynch me.' And I think there would have been a couple in the crowd that would have,” Beck said.

Beck said the wine glass that spilled on his wife was kicked intentionally, but last night, Sara Romanoski tweeted "@thedailyshow accidentally spilled wine on glenn beck's old glory blanket in bryant park. Think he'll #makemefamous?"

Beck also criticized Gawker for posting photos of his family and for doing "everything they can to stalk my family," Beck said. "They've put my family in danger."
