WIMBLEDON, England — Andy Murray moved into the semifinals at Wimbledon for the third straight year by defeating Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 Wednesday.
The players stepped onto a half-empty Centre Court following the surprise loss of six-time champion Roger Federer in the previous match. Murray was already a set up by the time the stadium began to fill up again.
The fourth-seeded Briton didn't face a break point until the third set. He saved the two he faced in the eighth game and finished off the match with a love game.
