Lesbian Couple Plans Fifth Wedding In New York

Everyone really does love a wedding, especially Wendy Smiley and Madeline Davis of Buffalo, N.Y. who want to celebrate the passing of New York's same sex marriage bill with a fifth wedding.

The couple, who have been together for 17 years, have already had a religious ceremony in Buffalo, a pagan ceremony in Cherry Creek, N.Y., a civil union in Vermont and another wedding in Ontario, Canada, reports UPI.

The law is expected to take effect July 24, and couple who said they've been calling themselves "wives for quite a long time," plan to marry soon after.

Perhaps as more places grant marriage equality to everyone, Davis and Smiley will able able to compete with Denise and Mark Thomas, who have exchanged wedding vows eighty-five times at eight-five different locations around the world.
