Rosie Huntington-Whiteley At The 'Transformers: Dark Side Of The Moon' Premiere Or Jessica Rabbit: Who Wore It Better? (PHOTOS, POLL)

The Huffington Post     First Posted: 06/29/2011 8:14 am   Updated: 08/29/2011 5:12 am

Let's cut to the chase: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked a lot like Jessica Rabbit at the New York premiere of "Transformers: Dark Side Of The Moon" on Tuesday night.

The Victoria's Secret Angel-turned-silver screen star stepped out in a strapless, red Antonio Berardi gown with a dramatic slit topped off with a wavy 'do. We're sure she didn't mean to channel every dude's animated dream girl circa 1988...because she left her purple evening gloves at home.

Take a look and tell us what you think.

Quick Poll

Who wore it better?

Rosie!

Jessica Rabbit!

Don't make me choose.

her arm looks oddly over-long in that second shot. but she looks good in the dress.

Jessica Rabbit by far! The ultimate animated fantasy vamp.

Jessica Rabbit wore it far better. Even though she was a cartoon, she gave the dress a classy, sexy elegance. Something you don't get with this chick Rosie Huntington. She looks hard and trollopy in the dress. You just can't see any elegance when she wears it.

I can see the red-headed woman on Mad Men wearing that dress. Forgot her name . . . sorry

OT, but another comparison that's weird: I had a hard time watching the movie "Casino Royale" because Eva Green seemed to be channeling Theda Bara. Check out side-by-side pictures! Extremely strange.

If you're going to wear a dress like that, you'd better have the chest and curves to make it look amazing.

For some reason Jessica Rabbit seems more real than Rosie Huntington-Whitely.

Jessica Rabbit. She is the only one who filled out the dressed.

Are you kidding? She doesn't have the body to even compete with Jessica, lol. She looks perfectly nice, just not va-va-voom. A great-looking dress on her and she looks like she feel beautiful and confident in it, isn't that what matters?

Rosie.. Even if we take real vs. cartoon out of the debate, the only way Jessica can look the way she does would be if she had a TON of plastic surgery... No one has curves like that naturally (she's based off a Barbie doll for goodness sake).

I like curves personally on women, but.. Naturally skinny (and Rosie doesn't look anorexic, just slender) is better than plastic-ly fake.

Animation allows for support that flesh could never match.

I'm not a dude, but if I were, I'd probably want a woman who was shaped more womanly than this model. She's pretty no doubt, but in an ingenue kinda way.More like a teenage girl than a woman. She's no different than any other actress, but they're all so hard, gym-trained bodies. Maybe it's just me, I don't find it sexy.

I think your opinion is largely driven by the fact that you're a heterosexual female - and there's nothing wrong with that. A more objective opinion however, would come from a heterosexual male.

With that said, Rosie is smoking hot - in a REAL kind of way. I would certainly better be able to side with her than animation that defies the laws of physics. (Jessica's form is an exaggeration.)

My vote is for Rosie. Some of your ladies are just jealous. Admit it. :)

I'm a woman as well with tons of straight male friends and they have ALL said they prefer a woman with curves. This doesn't translate to fat- this translates to a woman with a woman's body. And MOST women have hips, breasts and bottoms.
