Every July 4th, we celebrate the values that define the quintessential American spirit: community, hard work, individualism, and freedom. These are the principles embedded in our Constitution--they are the principles our elected representatives purportedly prize in their personal lives and work to uphold while in office. But, as we've seen in recent weeks, these values do not necessarily extend to the marriages of these politicians.

So we asked ourselves, is this trend in infidelity the product of the modern age, or are dysfunctional marriages as integral to American history as our founding documents themselves?
