MANHATTAN -- The owner of a popular East Village bar died Sunday, less than a week after being struck while riding his bike on Canal Street.
Ray Deter, owner of the bourbon bar d.b.a. on First Avenue, died as a result of blunt impact head trauma following the June 27 crash, the city medical examiner's office confirmed.
