Bono Performs Touching Duet With Blind Guitar Player

Occasionally, amid breakups and hookups, there's a story that's just plain sweet.

While playing a show in Nashville, U2 added a different act to their repertoire. Bono, the front man for the group, scanned the edge of the crowd and found something remarkable: a man with a sign affixed to his chest that read, "Blind Guitar Player. Bring Me Up." And so he did.

The man was Adam Bevell, a die hard U2 fan, whose dream was to play his wedding song, "All I want is You" on stage.

Aw, Bono!

Very nice gesture on Bono's part, but I'm not sure that this man's "blind."

Perhaps he's visually impaired, but it's hard to believe he's anywhere near "blind." Look at 3:13 of the video. The two are standing apart, Bono hands him the guitar, and the man knows exactly where the neck of the guitar is.

I've always loved the way this brother (Bono) walks the walk...a true man of the people with a heart of gold.

His mom must be so proud of him....

Being 40 means I can remember when U2 was a great band. Man I miss them.

I can't help it...I still love U2.

Really wanted to see their crazy 360 stage set in person, but was too much of a cheapskate. I'm regretting it now, but I'm sure they'll be back with something even wilder.

I am not a big U2 fan, but that is a very cool thing for one of the world's biggest rock stars to do.
Kudos to Bono!!

great tour, great band. i think gaga is probably the last musical act that could fill a stadium as a solo show.
