Kate Middleton Wears Roksanda Ilincic, DVF & Jenny Packham In California (PHOTOS)

After a nine-day stay, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bid Canada au revoir, arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday afternoon. They immediately headed over to Variety's Venture Capital and New Media Summit at The Beverly Hilton hotel.

For her first outfit on American soil, the former-Kate Middleton chose a belted sheath similar to the "Peridot Crepe Dress" by Roksanda Ilincic, a London-based designer best known for dressing red carpet sirens like Gwyneth Paltrow and Emma Stone...as well as First Lady Michelle Obama.

Later, the couple stopped by a private reception at the British Consul-General's residence where Catherine wore the Maja silk dress by Diane Von Furstenberg in "Lawn" a.k.a. green. She paired nude-colored pumps with each ensemble.

On Saturday afternoon, the Duchess stepped out to Santa Barbara Racquet and Polo Club for a Foundation Polo Challenge that benefits the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry in one more frock --a silver-and-marble-grey, hand-painted chinoiserie silk dress by Jenny Packham. She completed her look with the LK Bennett "Sliver" shoe in dark taupe and a clutch.

Michelle, Michelle, Michelle..... It's so easy to push liberal buttons these days. Why so defensive? What does admiring the style of a lovely young lady have to do with worship of anyone or anything???? Just look at the photo of the Princess stepping out of the plane. Then, look back at the photo Moo-chelle in her "daisey dukes" stepping out of Airforce 1. If you can't find it, let me know..... it's in my iphoto library, it's one of my favorites. I repost it quite often.

Take a dose of reality people. Each outfit cost the British people (and the Canadians) two thousand pounds which translates into $3000 dollars. The Brits are tired of supporting the lavish lifestyles of these parasites. As Marie Antoinette said "let them eat cake."

It's so sad that the only claim to fame these two have are coming down the right birth canal. Instead of following these nothings, why not concentrate on individuals like Dean Kamen;

Well speaking of STYLE, why, after going from one end of Canada to another, from Yellowknife to St. John's, why did they not visit all over the USA like Queen Elizabeth did back in what, 1992? No, they DISSED our Nation's Capital. What kind of style is THAT? They wanted to rub elbows with the celebrities and movie people, It doesn't look like they gave a rat's ass about "Skid Row", South Central, or teen dance troupes. If they wanted to attend to the poverty striken, they should have gone to Washington, and made a side trip to Anacostia or Southeast DC. What is further disappointing about the whole thing is that William, an experienced military man, including experience in matters of protocol, did not arrange such a stop to DC as a head of state, or representing same. They should have at least made the one US stop in New York, the REAL cultural capital of this country.

Kate is way too thin. It's not attractive.

I remember my dad who was of the WWll Generation. Those guys were great! I would hear he and his friends comment on how the girls were too think when I was growing up. They liked women with MEAT ON THEIR BONES! If someone appeared on tv stick think and they would speak about how nbeautiful she was..My dad would go,

"Ew, she looks like nothing but bones. Why would a man want to hug that?"

His generation HATED that skinniness. They wanted a woman they could hold on to.
They were SMART! A size 14 or 16 packages right, was OK with them! "They" were REAL MEN, that's why!

i really enjoy this couple, for so long they have been so private about their relationship;and it's refreshing to see them out and about together, enjoying the companionship of each other. they seem like the real deal, and she always looks head over heels in love with him. he seems so proud of her, too.
