First Posted: 07/08/11 05:24 PM ET   Updated: 09/07/11 06:12 AM ET

Oh how time flies. It was one year ago today that LeBron James announced that he will be teaming up with Dwyane Wade and Chris bosh in Miami in a one-hour special on ESPN called "The Decision." It was one year ago today that the expression "I'm taking my talents to South Beach" became the most popular catchphrase of the year. It was one year ago today that James broke the hearts of Cleveland fans. And it was one year ago today that the Heat became arguably the most scrutinized team in sports history.

In honor of the one-year anniversary of "The Decision," here's a look back at some of the most memorable moments and highlights of his James' first season with the Miami Heat.

Lebron will be as quiet as a church mouse, the next season that is played. Or when ever the lock out is lifted. Franchise-Player clause is coming, the Lebron James rule for the NBA.

I really do not think I need to be reminded of LeChoke's year; it speaks for it's self.

He's back in the NEOA, this week for his bike a-thon and basketball camp. Keeping a very low profile. People will never forget the "DECISION".

I am sure Lebron is not the same obnoxious guy off the court as he is on . He seam to be a friendly likeable person .But i personally hope he never win a NBA championship.

Hows that "We're gonna win not 6, but 7 championships.." thing working out for you 'KING' James?
Got a dictionary? Look up 'Humility'.

A year ago, LeBo took his talents, his attitude and his BF'ing ego (loaded on a tractor trailor) to South Beach. Enjoy LBJ. The one thing you want is to be loved, and you never will, not until you learn some humilty...... something I don't ever see happening.

I am a Cleveland fan and I didn't like your attitude or the fawning over you when you were in Cleveland, and I like you even less now.

Lebron ought to hop in a boat and sail to Latvia.....and take the despicable Jim Grey with him.

Here's an idea. Why don't you work out, LaBron? Maybe do some running? Build up some stamina so you can do something in the fourth quarter?

The only pro level b-ball player with no known 4th quarter highlights....except dunking on a 12 year old in a summer training session.

This is probably a paid placement, ala all of the Anniston and Hendricks pieces constantly circling the bowl that HP has become.

People still aren't over it?! wow. the only team that has any right to piss and moan are the cavaliers. Bulls fans, if he would of said "i'm taking my talents to the windy city" you all would have been ecstatic and would have been more obnoxious than you guys already are. The Knicks fan, i'm sure you guys would have loved Lebron to say "im taking my talents to the big apple" considering you guys have only won ONE playoff game in 10 years. Honestly, who cares?! basketball is full of characters, this is just another one.

Bulls fans have a right to be pissed... mostly at our own team though. We totally should've taken that series to at least 6 games. We got humiliated by the Heat. But then again, there's always next year... if there is a next year.

o.k....I'll buy into "next year" as long as the Bulls don't turn into the 2nd coming of the Cubs.
11:03 AM on 07/10/2011
As a Knicks fan I vehemently disagree...the Knicks have won ZERO playoff games in 10 yrs.

Every day you wake up and you are still Labron.
10:54 AM on 07/09/2011
Yes, everyday he wakes up and he is still lebron, and we are all still broke. i wish i had lebron's bank account, dont you? He's hanging out in Dubai or someplace awesome, where you hanging this summer?
02:46 PM on 07/09/2011
I'm not broke. I've been to Dubai a few times. I live in Brentwood, CA. Lebron James is a just regular person like everyone else in my community. We have much wealthier and more famous people than Lebron that live here. Our money doesn't travel to the afterlife with us. Our money doesn't buy us championships. So stop using the burnt out and wrongful statement of saying he's wealthy and everyone else sucks. Lebron James is no Kobe, Duncan, Shaq or Wade but he is a glorified version of Vince Carter. Also, Lebron is 270 lbs, he's gonna have a short career. Look at the high players that joined the NBA and look at their bodies/ careers ( Kobe and Garnett are exceptions but they are very hurt ) such as Tmac, J. O'neal, A. Bynum, D. Miles, etc
11:45 PM on 07/09/2011
Every day I wake up and I have the same number of NBA championship rings as Lebron does, so it's all good.
