Mila Kunis may pair up with Justin Timberlake later this month in "Friends With Benefits," but that isn't stopping one Marine from pursuing the Golden Globe-nominated actress.

Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, has posted a video asking the star to join him at the Marine Corps. Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina. He even has a YouTube user page set up, dedicated to the cause.

Interested, Ms. Kunis? Contact Sgt. Moore at gowithmemila at gmail.com.

Ms. Kunis is politically naive. Her date, Sgt. Scott Moore is a international war criminal. He is brazenly guilty of a capital war crime, namely aiding and abetting an "aggressive" (first strike war). Moore is a psychopath serial killer who engineered a free trip to Afghanistan to hunt humans who were no threat to the USA, including children. She should cancel the date immediately.

Are you American my friend? I hope you don't pay taxes and pay this psychopath serial killer's pay check.....

I think Roedy actually sounds jealous of Sgt Moore, just not sure if it is because Mila accepted Sgt Moore's invitation to the ball or because he got a "free" trip to Afghanistan.

This is the cutest thing ever. I hope she goes and hangs out with him and his friends, and enjoys herself.

Relax, everyone. This is nothing new-during World War II, celebrities dated servicemen all the time, and more than a few of them got married. If the internet had been around in those days the number would probably have been higher. By his very presence in the Sandbox as a United States Marine, Sgt. Moore has demonstrated honor in his willingness to be a part of something bigger than himself. Dating someone who understands such a currently obscure concept couldn't be a bad thing...

I like this woman. She's a "what you see is what you get" kinda person. At least outwardly, she comes across that way. She doesn't appear appear to be caught up in the whole gotta keep going blond and blonder to be ogled.....unlike certain starlets who shall remain unnamed....JA.

This was a silly, fun gesture on Sgt Moore's part. And it was a surprising, neat move on Mila Kunis's part. The presence of so much brass (command and control lol), and a celebrity (gliz), at the Marine Corps ball will ensure EVERYONE has a great experience they will remember for a good long while. A military ball is a very formal affair, so Kunis will probably be better prepared for the experience than most of the Marines in attendance. lol

That said, I am troubled by the recurring theme that this is an obligation on Kunis's part that would have painted her as somehow unpatriotic had she declined. That is ridiculous, and dangerous. Some of you have imbibed the patriotism koolaid just a little too much. And for what it's worth, I spent a year and a half in Iraq, OIF-III 05-06, Army infantry, and I never expected nor received a date with Jessica Alba as reward. lol

Poor Ms Alba. She's probably pining away for a cute soldier like you.

(Not being sarcastic, I bet Ms Kunis was totally flattered. I agree with your sentiment that she doesn't "owe it" to anyone, but I'm glad she's going. From what I hear from my nephew, that ball is fun.)

Mackin' in a war zone. You go boy!
Kunis should be honored to attend with one of this nation's finest. It would be an easy "yes" for me.

Oh Wow! She said, yes. That is nice to read. I hope he treats her as a lady should be treated.

I heard that she did accept the invitation but it remains to be seen whether it'll be possible to work out the logistics or not.

If Mila Kunis accepts Sgt. Scott Moore's request, what is stopping any men serving overseas to make a similar request to Kunis or anyone else? While it would be a nice gesture, what does Kunis know of Sgt. Moore other than he's a Sergeant in the Marines? I suppose Kunis can go and try to keep it a secret, but I am not sure Sgt. Moore will be able to nor will those who see Kunis at the ball.

I don't know about anybody else, but accepting this invitation doesn't seem patriotic to me nor will choosing to decline will seem unpatriotic. I wish people would stop using those words so loosely or someday they will become completely pedestrian, and therefore, meaningless.

If a young man is putting his life on the line for his country asks for a simple date from a celebrity he has a crush on, I see nothing wrong with either asking or accepting. All of the Marines should make their request known and everyone take their celebrity crush to the Marine Ball. These men are courageous and highly skilled and the request is a simple one. I see NOTHING wrong with it. If I were Kunis, I'd dress up like I was going to the Oscars and enjoy myself immensely.

You do realize that over 1.6 million people have been deployed in various combat theaters since 2001. So the Hollywood A-List set, lets say there are 100 women that would be of interest to Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen... each would have to go on approximately 16,000 dates in order to give everyone their turn at their respective service's ball. I think what Sgt. Moore did is awesome, but your inferrence that this should become some kind of standard reward for a deployment is insane. And for what it's worth I spent a year and a half in Iraq... OIF III 05-06, Army infantry. Never expected nor received a date with Jessica Alba. :P

I'm a 24 year old combat veteran and I wouldn't stoop so low as to PUBLICLY play on someone's patriotism for a date. x1cness is correct in that it sets a precedent that cannot be fulfilled every time a Soldier or Marine post a YouTube video. Now spitting this line in private at bars is a whooooole different story.
