Actually Energizer DOES make far and away the longest lasting batteries. I never buy any other kind because I hate having to replace batteries. One other battery company -- Duracell or Ray-O-Vac I think has even taken to printing on their battery packages -- "Last as long as Energizer". Forgive my doubt....
