10 States Running Out Of Children: 24/7 Wall St.

States Children

24/7 Wall St.:

The portion of the U.S. population that is under 15 years of age has dropped slightly during the last decade, and the ripple effect of this already has repercussions on the economy. While the resources that children need are different than those of adults, for governments they are not less expensive. Most government expenses have to do with education. However, the recession has added other costs: The costs of food and other programs such as Food Stamps, or the cost of housing as the inventories of foreclosed homes and the number of adults chronically unemployed rises. The challenges vary considerably from state to state because in some the percentage of the population under 15 has fallen sharply.

Thank goodness, at least the cuts in education by the infamous GOP will not have such an impact as they could have had.

Better to die fighting, than live on knees

Well I tell you what, the way my 2 oldest daughters were fighting with each other this past weekend, I'm seriously thinking of sending those states a few children to do with what they want.

People who have kids feel they are entitled to 3 meals at school., bus rides and unlimited daycare.
After which they think they are entitled to free college and a good job.
The joke will be on them as it did not work for my generation either.

Do you not understand that at least 1 out of every 100 children is on ss or ssi?

It's funny, the same people who believe social security to be the most important thing in the world and largely depend on it are also the same people who prefer a world where they have to personally raise less children, i.e. don't want to be pregnant and have a family.

It's just a fascinating thing to notice sometimes.

I know where we can get all the kids America need for the "child labor force" the republicans are trying to create. CHINA. We import everything else from them, might as well import the children too. Anchors, aweigh. Let's go get em'!!!

Warning - the data coming out of California is FALSE. I would like to go to a restaurant, Starbucks, or movie theatre without listening to a crying baby or witnessing a temper tantrum.

Good. The less people, the better. Yet there are some who still think birth control is a "sin"!

The Pope is a very bad man. I can't understand why anyone is still in the Catholic Church after all they have done. Would you feel comfortable leaving your kids with a priest?
