With all the excitement over the final installment of the Harry Potter series, YouTuber tessaROXX mashed up her Potter love with another book that was making entertainment waves recently: "The Book of Mormon." Not the religious text though -- the musical.
Written by "South Park" masterminds Trey Parker and Matt Stone, "Mormon" recently won the Tony for "Best New Musical," and this parody pays tribute to both Potter and the play's opening song.
The original version is sung by missionaries going door to door spreading the word of the Mormon church, but tessaROXX, who produced and played all the parts -- Harry, Ron, Ms. Weasley, even You-Know-Who -- uses the song to let people know that reading Harry Potter will change your life.
We have to agree, and we'd love to see a whole Harry Potter version of "The Book Of Mormon" in the future!
