In the sixth inning of Colorado Springs' 7-6 win over Salt Lake City on Friday night, the catcher who had only hit one home run in 213 at-bats this season crushed one out of the park... and broke his bat in the process. Jordan Pacheco of the Rockies Triple-A affiliate sent the ball 410 feet for a two-run homer and the third of the inning for Colorado. Even though Pacheco nailed it in a hitter-friendly park, Mark Townsend of Big League Stew still can't explain how he broke his bat and hit it that far.
