Obviously this is too deep of a subject for Huffington Post Readers:
1. " I want the government to fund my pet concerns"
2. "But I want to escape paying any taxes I possibly can, by hook or by crook!"
3. "I want a good job, but I hate corporations that withhold my taxes for me. I could do much better myself (after I sober up, that is.)"
4. "IRS agents are heartless and mean. Can't the government just send out greeting cards to people asking them to pay? What's the big deal?"

Anything this woman has done should be under scrutiny. If she's running for the highest office in our country, there should be no stone unturned. You don't "sweep things under the rug," just because she doesn't want things to come out. This goes for ANY candidate.

There are 23 foster and adopted kids at the Bachmann's home. And they have five kids of their own. The statistical odds are that 2 or 3 of their kids are gay. I wonder if their "dad" has changed any of them from gay to straight? Perhaps their home is not a proper place for these foster and adopted kids if they are subjected to the Bachmann's beliefs. I can't wait for the books to come out when these kids grow up!

Were you locked up in ice when we had the 2008 election and afterwards? We got the skinny on Obama, and got the skinny, got the skinny etc. etc. etc until even more had to be dug up so that could be refuted too. But believe that FOX is hot on the trail pursuing anything that can be twisted and reformed to fit a pattern that'll show, once again, it's nothing and that Obama's good. Geez, if I recieved a nickel for every madcap investigation into Obama's past I'd be in such a high income bracket that I'd be taxed at Obama's rate.

You have a lot to learn. Muslims are members of Islam... a religion. Communism is a political ideology in which religion is not tolerated. The only power in Communism is the government. For an example, look at how China has cracked down on religion.

To the person who suggested dividing the states into the "free" states and the "socialist" states. You are quite confused, but the "free" states would have to be the democratic ones, because CONS are all about complete power. They want you to be owned by the same corporations they are. A Liberal's beliefs are all designed to pander to his ego. So when you have an argument with a liberal, you are not really discussing the facts. You are threatening his self esteem. You guys on the right scream foul and unfair everytime Palin opens her mouth and the press gets it, Bachmann shoots herself in the foot, and Boehner earmarks for his state in the era of no earmarks. What is it with you guys? I get the impression you're half asleep sometimes when you type on these boards and hardly fluid in the language of attack. Geez, how bad can liberals be. if she worked for the IRS, then THE IRS took him to court, not Bachmann

and if I understand this correctly, BECAUSE she worked for the IRS in the past, THEN she is not ALLOWED to rail against the IRS & the Fed's tax policies???

Almost 20% of all homes in this country in foreclosure, unemployment has been over 8% for almost 3 years, education is getting worse, China is making everything we buy, and all liberals want to do steer away from these facts. Obama and the Democrats have to go because they have proved they have no solution.

The For-Profit, Free-Enterprise System put the 20% of homes into foreclosure and caused the 8% UE. The Republican Governors in 18 states are cutting education funding by up to 50%. Idiots are still buying Chinese made goods instead of backing American workers and Unions that could end this depression and get us good wages and benefits. The FACTS are that President Obama has done everything right, everything that as always worked in the past, and has created 3.6 million new jobs, 13,600 public works projects to fix the country, and 650,000 new small businesses. Every economist and most of the medical community backed the Affordable Care Act, and every intelligent American knows that our President is right on energy, transportation, medical research, ending the wars, and increasing taxes on those that benefit the most, the corporations and wealthy... Wake Up America, Wake UP...

Are you, as a good rightist with hard capitalist views, demanding government intervention into these problems. Why aren't you denouncing the Bush tax cuts. Remember, they were supposed to keep the economy rolling with high employment. Why didnt' they work out???? Why aren't you looking deep down inside yourself and fix the contradiction that you're a conservative that wants government intervention-just like Govenor Palin presiding over a state that takes money from the businesses that earn it (the oil companies in AK) and giving it to the people who didn't earn it (the people of AK). Typical neo-con that buys from China while denouncning Chinese imports. I thought you guys didn't want unemployment insurance going to the unemployed-that's what the Republicans wanted to stop. But you lament the high unemployment. It makes for lower wages because you have a surplus of workers. And how are we going to get a capitalist solution to all the homes under foreclosure. Capitalists are notorious for foreclosing properties and throwing the family out into the street. You like that????? That's sick.
