Demi Lovato's had a tough year, but now the singer has something exciting to celebrate. She dropped her latest single, 'Skyscraper,' at the stroke of midnight Tuesday and is on cloud nine with the outpouring of support from her fans.
"Yay!! It's official! #Skyscraper is now on @itunesmusic ... So excited for you guys to hear it!" she tweeted when her song was released.
"This song is so special to me because it's inspired by my journey and the struggles that I've dealt with this past year," she wrote as a contributing editor for Seventeen magazine, adding, "I am still on a personal journey dealing with my own issues each and every day, but the best advice I can give to anyone going through a rough patch is to never be afraid to ask for help."
And, just a few shorts hours after its release, the song was sitting comfortably in the Top 10 on iTunes.
"Okay I'm literally balling my eyes out right now... So grateful for my friends and fan's support.. Wow... So happy, so blessed..." she wrote after receiving such positive feedback from fans and celebs alike, including Kim Kardashian, Brittany Snow, Hunter Parrish and Lucy Hale, who all tweeted their support for Lovato.
Lovato, whose new album is set to be released this fall, gave fans a teaser last week when she released the stunning cover art for the album.
