Interesting that he brings up Robert Helpman's "child snatcher" from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. That was a scary figure for me as well. I remember having nightmares after seeing that movie for the first time. I think I must have been a bit too young at the time. It came out when I was 2 and we all saw it in the theater.
