Since when do they grab the crotch?? They do run their hands up in the inside of the leg and across the crotch. No grabbing - can't do that with the back of the hand, plus honestly, would anyone with their eyes at that level really grab someone's crotch? Seems to me it's an instant invitation to a kick in a bad area. Plus, if she refused the metal detector, oh well. You don't have to fly, lots of other ways to go - boat, car, train, feet.

Good.

I cannot stand these type of people.  Just go through the security theatre and board your flight.  Do not make a scene or stand up for your principles or some crap.

People have places to go.  They are not going to the airport to hangout.  Move through the line and get to your destination.  There you can tell all of your other intellectually differently advantaged friends how awful flying is and how you were assaulted.

No, I am just tired of everyone trying to make every situation into some big political point.

If you have a problem with it start a website or write a letter or just stop flying.

You will get no one on your side by inconveniencing people.  No one is going to be swayed by someone who is acting like a dick.

Fornella was given the option of having her and her kids go through the metal detector. Since she didn't want that, she had to go through the pat-downs. If you don't like airport security, there is always cars, Greyhound, or Amtrak.

This mom is just plain lucky that the TSA didn't just shoot her. Feeling people up is their job and they take it seriously, and maybe even like it.

You don't know what you are talking about. First off the TSA doesn't carry any weapons, and secondly most law enforcement officers (I know TSA aren't cops, but bare with me) hate feeling up people, but they have to do it.

If you don't like the way the TSA is treating you, DON'T FLY. The airlines are already are charging for every little service anyway. If enough people stopped flying and blamed the TSA, how long until their lobbiests got hold of Congress. Better yet, write your representatives yourself. Last time I checked, WE voted them in, not the airlines and not the lobbiests. Still need to fly? Go private. It seems to me that if all the companies and private plane owners got together, they could sell flights and earn income to support and justify the contined use of these expensive toys. Divert the revenue stream from the big boys. The commercial lines are cutting back on services anyway.

Yeah, and if you need to get a Europe, I suggest buying a Delorean and getting to work on the flux capacitor (try bumping your head on the toilet, for starters) so you can get to the future and modify it to fly, then you won't have this problem anymore, "amirite gaiz?"

TSA I watched an agent push a cart of containers into a woman and trap her in a corner. The TSA agent didn't care my brother and I had to help the woman.

You can be arrested for disorderly conduct for just about anything, however, this is the United States of America, why do we need such intense screening procedures and perpetually imposed upon the public citizenry. Would we impose the same procedures at a local mall if a terror attack happened at one of our mall? What about being frisked when entering a McDonalds or Walmart, or being asked for identification in order to pump gas or cross a state border? Laws could be imposed with further restrictions with minimal intervention or influence from US citizens, for example, the TSA. Maybe we could have more creative solutions on security from the commercial sector or private companies?

You are already almost molested when you leave a Walmart. That's why I never shop there anymore. The last time I went a door greeter kept insisting that she see my receipt. I told her to read the Constitution for a change.

People are stupid.

Security is not enough when it comes to other people and always too much when it comes to them being scrutinized.

They want all the security.  "Remember 7.11," they cry.  But they only want it for "bad people", who is everyone but them and their families.

TSA is a joke, look at the people they hire. Look at the TSA employee who was stealing people electronics from their luggage, got caught having an IPod stuff in his pants. To be perfectly honest I am more afraid of the TSA employees than of the terrorist.

You are not kidding. It is like a friggin' prison at the airport. The whole place is impersonal and unfriendly with tension. It makes me feel claustrophobic. My family and relatives are driving to vacations this year. Someone joked they don't want their diapers checked. Thousands lost in revenue, millions in public relations. The airlines are going bust.

Please people, everybody wanted more security after 9/11, talk to the victims of 9/11( oh they are dead) they would not mind if the TSA had searched them and the terrorists. But as we can see, people are never satisfied. If you don't want to be searched, take the train, bus or drive.
