These sexy no-haired sirens bared it all to nab roles of a lifetime, taking the plunge when it comes to calling cut on their previously luscious locks. From renegade runaway Natalie Portman in "V for Vendetta" to sci-fi hero Sigourney Weaver in "Alien" and special ops fighter Demi Moore in "G.I. Jane," these women prove that hair is an unnecessary accessory.

So is going rogue with a pair of scissors and a razor what it takes to make your big break in Tinsel Town? It was for these ladies. Sigourney Weaver, Persis Khambatta and Robin Tunney all count their bare head roles as their introduction to leading lady status.

So take notes all of you aspiring actresses out there -- steady your hand and snip away to make it big.
