UPDATE: It turns out that the proposal was too good to be true. According to CEO of ShareThrough Dan Greenberg, the video is a viral ad campaign for a new "sexual health energy drinks" called Neuro Sport. As Greenberg said, well played.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED:

Ever wonder what it would be like to have your worst nightmare and happiest moment happen within the same one minute? Just ask this bride-to-be, who went from thinking her future fiance had fallen to his death, to realizing it was all a creative, albeit terrifying, marriage proposal.

Thankfully for him, she said yes. We wonder how many other girls would have gotten over the fright that quickly. Could this possibly rival this video as the greatest marriage proposal of all time?

Watch the video and tell us what you think: is this mean or awesome?

Well, the writing for this is confusing to say the least. Is it a fake, and in fact an ad for something, or did he totally scare her? And what's up with the other two items in the video? Do you not have a video edit machine. Sloppy stuff here HuffPost UK!

I put off watching this for a week, thinking it would go away and I wouldn't have to watch it, but they kept it up FOREVER and I had to watch it and....... hated it.

I don't normally do this but... FAKE! Everyone in the video has bottles of some obscure sports drink. Also, her reaction is too delayed.

Fake or not, I am sick and tired of these people trying to find phony, creative ways to do things like propose for marriage. JUST ASK THE GIRL TO MARRY YOU IN A PRIVATE SETTING! Everybody wants to be a hit on YouTube whether it is a proposal, walking down the aisle for your wedding, or coming home after serving your country. God, I am so sick of the "reality show" mentality in this country.

Looks really staged to me.

Very much!!!

Staged, yes. He obviously had the inflated pad ready and there were several cameras running. But I'll accept it was an authentic proposal (attempt) until I learn otherwise.

Notice she said, "No Way!" in response. I think the "staging script" wouldn't have included that.

I enjoy goofy practical jokes but I limit myself to such as this: I waited for my wife to get out of bed for a bathroom break; then I quickly reversed myself in bed, head under the covers and feet on the pillow. She squealed and laughed when she realized the answer to her question, "Why do you sound funny?"
