Jennifer Lopez-Marc Anthony Divorce: Exes Remain Business Partners

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may no longer be partners in marriage, but it appears they will be partners in business--at least for now.

The former couple, who announced their split Friday after seven years of marriage, will continue to collaborate on the reality show "Q'Viva!" and their Kohl's clothing line, which was announced last November.

According to Extra!, both Lopez and Anthony are still attached to the reality show. Lopez told Fox News Latino last month that "the show is the biggest thing that I’ve been involved with yet.”

In a statement released since the stars announced their split, XIX Entertainment--the management company behind Q'Viva!--confirmed the show is still set to film this fall in South America with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony as previously announced: "Both Jennifer and Mark are committed to the Q'Viva! project and will work on it as planned. The show goes on!"

Meanwhile, Women's Wear Daily reported that the pair will also move forward with their Kohl's collaboration, which is on schedule to launch in September. But don't expect them to share a sketch pad: Lopez is set to design the women's line while Anthony will focus on the men's.

"The Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony brands have always been positioned as two separate, distinctive collections that offer high-quality contemporary style for men and women, and we look forward to a successful September launch," a spokesperson said in a statement released this weekend.

Though the couple, who have 3-year-old twins, didn't announce the cause of their split, some speculate it's work related.

“I don’t know any relationship that could survive the juggling of schedules of both Jennifer and Marc,” an industry insider told the Huffington Post. “Angelina and Brad years ago agreed that while one of them was working the other took time off. Unfortunately, knowing both Jen [and] Marc, I can tell you that neither of them is capable of putting their career on hold when a great or big paying opportunity comes along.”

Jennifer and Marc:
I do not know or is it any of my business what your marital problems are. I love both your music and I think both of you are tremendous talents. I also respect you for keeping prior commitments and working together even though you want to separate. For the good of the twins, you should always be on amicable terms and keep your business private. I wish you both good luck, health, success, and joy with your precious children.

Who cares who gets what - doesn't change my life or anyone else's - their business and I couldn't care less!.. I'd rather see this country getting their priorities straight and back on its feet so hard working people know WHY they are working this hard, not about Jlo or any other famous & rich person. Every day, since the announcement, that is all we hear about and while the news media are making $$$$$$$$, it does not change my life, so WHO THE HECK CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel for actors/actresses when there marriages fail. Your choice of careers shouldnt play a factor in making a marriage work. Maybe it is because insecure,needy,selfish and self center people tend to gravitate to show business, those traits make a marriage a tough go

Over 50% of all marriages end in divorce in the USA. Insecure, needy,selfish and self-centered people...........DUH. Those are characterists that are not exclusive to actors. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors ........ The only difference between actors and us is they

Are you on crack or what? Actors are notorious for minute marriages and my dates last longer than most of their marriages (figuratively speaking so that you don't get your panty hose entangled around your neck in taking me literally). Maybe it's due to the profession itself always being on the road often without the other spouse but whether it's acting or not kissing someone else and lying naked with others can't always go over well in feeling secure about each other.

I think it's sad they are splitting, they seemed so into each other & with the twins it was a beautiful thing to see a Hollywood couple/family make their marriage work, Both are incredibilly talented so hopefully it wasn't professional egos winning over the family unit. One is important, the other is fleeting & easier but less fulfilling in the long run.

Gee, I thought "American Idol" was open to ALL races and ethnicities??? But I must be wrong because they are going to create a NEW show that searches high and low for HISPANIC talent. Hmmmmmmm? I wonder how a show that was geared towards WHITES only would go? "American Idol(but only if you are white)" I think that would be called RACIST would it not??? Yet they can start a show calling on Latinos only. I am so sick and tired of hearing how The WHITES are so prejudiced/racist, etc etc etc, because when you look around, WE are the ones that are all inclusive, yet everyone else isn;t. Interesting.That will be one show I wont be watching. I wonder where Al Sharpton and Jesse will be on this one? Silent as usual because it only offends whites.
