Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony Keep It Together For Kohl's

While many separated couples remain amicable for the sake of their children, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are sticking it out for the sake of... Kohl's.

Women's Wear Daily reported Monday that two clothing and accessories lines by the recently-separated couple will debut as planned, albeit with slightly different billing.

The duo will no longer be promoted as "the first celebrity couple to simultaneously design collections for one retailer," and the lines are now being advertised as two separate collections, supposedly the plan from the start.

It's a smart move for Lopez, who has always been better at selling "Jennifer Lopez"-branded products than staying married. Her fragrance biz, which includes sixteen perfumes to date, essentially invented celebrity fragrance as we know it and has earned around $1 billion since launching in 2002, Women's Wear Daily reported last year.

And her success with marriage? We're looking at a 0-for-3 record, not including a broken engagement to Ben Affleck.

Lopez should be eager to make the Kohl's line succeed, considering her uncharacteristic failure with branded apparel in the past. The singer/actress/entrepreneur recently told the New York Times that she felt like she "never got a fair chance to do it right" when it came to a Jennifer Lopez sportswear line, which flopped after a 2001 launch.

Definitely beautiful.. so why are you competing with beauty.. that's so cruel to average people like you and the rest of us. Liz was beautiful but her body was nothing compared to Jlo's and many other average women you may not find beautiful. Her own hubby said her torso was too short.. her boobs were not beautifully formed and her legs were too short. No one's perfect.

I would not see or buy anything that J Lo is connected with. She is too phony and is like you know what, all over the place. She is over exposed and over rated as well. Kohl's would be smart in dropping the line asap. Her Macy's line tanked like her movies and recording do.

She may have more "mainstream" appeal but he is the top selling salsa artist in the world. 30 million + albums sold. How is that not a great career? Not to mention he is an amazing singer, unlike her.

F&F 100x's...you sure got it right clr1390. I refuse to buy designer clothes or makeup. Being a talented seamsterss I know how to make those clothes a lot cheaper and of better quality. I won't wear her stuff if it was given to me, it looks cheap like all the discount stores, lololo

I recall she left her first husband for Chris Judd, her former backup dancer and her second marriage. Then left Chris for Sean P Diddy. Then left P Diddy for Ben Affleck. She broke up with Ben then moved on to reunite with Mark Anthony who was supposed to be the love of her life because they first hooked up before she married her first husband. Whew! JLo has a very astonishing love life. Liz Taylor would have been embarrassed.

It is an extremely rare Hollywood couple whose marriage lasts very long. I never thought that this Lopez-Anthony marriage would last for seven years. That is a milestone for Hollywood folks.Two extremely ambitious entertainers, and they probably became jealous of each other's success. Maybe it was a business partnership to begin with. In any event, I wish them both good luck in their chosen, different paths to fame and fortune.
