Poor Families In Affluent Glenview Face Unique Challenges

Nancy Bloom believes Glenview's upper crust zip code makes it harder than it should be to get grants that would help poor local families.

More than 65 percent of the children and parents who get counseling, recreation or other therapies from Youth Services are low income, she said, but granting agencies still seem skeptical.
