Flying on some airlines is definitely better than others. Last time I flew from Sydney to Honolulu on United, our whole section had no reading lights, no air blowythings, no sound for the movie or any other audio entertainment for 12 hours in the dark. United offered us 500 flying miles in compensation. Yeah, the first thing I want to do is get on another United flight.....NOT.

Funny thing is all 15 are true to some degree. The kid kicking the seat is my personal fav. I have actually turned around and told them to stop doing it. My husband gives them the look. You know the one your dad gave you when he wanted you to stop doing something.

Who is the mean, non-clever person who wrote this? Does this person get paid? If so, I want that job cause I can be as caustic and daffy as he/she is with observations, but decidedly more on the mark.

I travel from Seattle to DC on a regular basis. This article had me until they tried use "Buchenwald" as a punchline.

"Flying is the worst because people come back from flights and they tell you their story and it's like a horror story. It's, they act like their flight was like a cattle car in the 40's in Germany. That's how bad they make it sound. They're like "it was the worst day of my life... First of all we didn't board for 20 minutes. And then we get on the plane and they made us sit there on the runway for 40 minutes. We had to *sit there*!" Oh really, what happened next? Did you fly through the air incredibly like a bird? Did you partake in the miracle of human flight, you non-contributing zero? Wow, you're flying! It's amazing! Everybody on every plane should just constantly be going, 'oh my God! wow!' You're flying! You're... you're sitting in a chair in the *sky*!"
