Representative Jared Polis shared his thoughts on economic reform with Fox News on Wednesday. Polis opens the interview acknowledging "we all know we need spending cuts, but it's a lot harder to find common ground when it comes to revenue increases."
This builds off a Wall Street Journal article Polis authored earlier this month in which he argues that many Republicans equate raising revenues with increasing taxes, when other solutions exist beyond a simple tax hike.
Among these solutions, Polis particularly points to smarter marijuana regulation (no surprise there), immigration reform, and legalized internet gambling.
