Celebrity Impostors: Stars Who've Been Duped (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Lookalikes, Impostors And Thieves, Oh My!

Imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery, but when it comes to celebrities, it can cause more harm than good.

Kim Kardashian is the latest star who has had to deal with an impersonator cashing in on her fame. The reality star sued the clothing company, Old Navy, for using a lookalike in their television advertisements. The model, Melissa Molinaro, isn’t named in the suit but bears a striking resemblance to the starlet. To add insult to injury, and perhaps help Kardashian’s case, Molinaro is currently dating Kim’s ex-boyfriend, NFL star, Reggie Bush.

Not all lookalikes are in it for the fame and fortune. Some celebrities have found humor in their dopplegangers and some have found themselves seeking legal council. The unauthorized use of a celebrity's persona, or in some cases their actual images, has been the cause for many conversations and lawsuits alike.

Check out some celebrities who have had run-ins with individuals and companies, looking to cash in while pulling one over on the stars and their fans!
