Darren Criss Rumored To Replace Daniel Radcliffe In 'How To Succeed' Broadway Run

From McKinley to straight to Broadway, "Glee" star Darren Criss may get an express pass to New York to fill Daniel Radcliffe's shoes in January.

According to Deadline, Criss is rumored to replace Radcliffe in "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" for a three-week run at the start of 2012. The casting is especially ironic since Criss made his first pop-culture mark playing the same role at Radcliffe - Harry Potter. Criss was Harry in a University of Michigan musical parody that went viral on YouTube in 2009. Criss went on to become the breakout star of the last "Glee" season, playing main character Kurt Hummel's love interest, Blaine Anderson.

Criss is also rumored to be joining the cast of Imogene, starring opposite Kristen Wiig and Annette Bening. "Glee" producers have let other cast members break from the series to shoot film project, and according to Deadline Criss would miss less than two episodes.

This weekend Criss joins a "Glee" panel at Comic-Con and is coming off of last weekend's performance with his Team Starkid production company, masterminds behind A Very Potter Musical. Moviefone captured some of the group's performance at the LeakyCon Harry Potter convention and Criss might just be Broadway-ready.
