A few youngsters attending Fredette's basketball camp in Utah got a first hand look at what it means to be Jimmered over the weekend, watching the Sacramento Kings first round draft pick effortlessly hit shots from very long range.
Fresh off his ESPY for male college athlete of the year, Jimmer returned to Utah to host the camp, telling KSL in Utah, "I'm in a position to help kids out now and be a role model, and that's exactly what I want to do. I want to go out and show them the path that I kinda paved for them and hopefully they can follow in those footsteps and reach their dreams just like I have."
One thing is for certain: If there's an NBA season this year, expect Fredette to inject some much needed excitement into the lowly Kings.
