Why not join the Episcopal Church? It has women priests, most of the sacraments, no pope and is gay-friendly. It's easier than trying to change the Catholic Church.

Until the Church officially changes Her ruling regarding women and the Priesthood, there will be no such thing as a female Catholic Priest. I'm sure that these women are well-intentioned, however, they are also playing dress-up. In 2008, the doctrinal congregation formally decreed that a woman who attempts to be ordained a Catholic priest and the person attempting to ordain her are automatically excommunicated. In 1994, Pope John Paul II said the church's ban on women priests is definitive and not open to debate among Catholics.

Bottom line? You can't ordain a woman as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church. It isn't possible yet. Wishing doesn't make it so.
