FINA World Championships 2011: The Best Faces From Competition (PHOTOS)

Posted: Updated:

The 14th FINA World Championships have been underway for almost two weeks now, and while the competition is fierce, it may not always look so pretty.

And it seems Getty photographer Ezra Shaw has a knack for capturing the lighter side of the games in Shanghai.

Currently, China holds the most gold medals at the games (11), followed by Russia (7), and the US (2). But at one point or another, they've all looked equally ridiculous. Especially the divers.

With some stunning angles the photographer captured a different side of the World Championships, even finding an angle and shutter-speed that let him get up close and personal with divers who are normally spinning far too fast to be captured on film.
