Olbermann Rips Glenn Beck's Norway Terror Attack Comments (VIDEO)

Olbermann: Beck 'A Seriously Disturbed Human Being'

Keith Olbermann awarded Glenn Beck the distinction of "Worst Person in the World" on Monday night's "Countdown," calling him "a seriously disturbed human being" for his comments on the terrorist attacks in Norway.

On his radio show on Monday, Beck criticized the summer youth camp where the majority of the killings took place. The camp was an annual program organized by the ruling Labor Party for youth interested in politics. Beck said the camp "sounds a little like the Hitler Youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."

Olbermann condemned Beck's comparison of the teenage victims to Hitler Youth, calling it "one of the most disturbing things I've ever heard." Even worse, he said, was that "[Beck] says it and goes right past it, as if it weren't one of the most disturbing things I've ever heard." Olbermann went on to say that summer camps for kids interested in politics exist in the U.S.

He also said that Beck lacked sympathy for the victims of the attack, noting that Beck called the camp itself disturbing and not the deaths. Olbermann asked, "The 68 dead at the camp? That's not what he's focused on."
