Ola's Driving School Shut Down; 1,108 People Will Have To Re-Take Colorado Licensing Test

Over 1,100 Have To Re Take Driver's License Test

Ola's Driving School in Denver was shut down Tuesday by the Colorado Department of Revenue, according to the Denver Post, and all 1,108 people who tested at the school for a driver's license will have to take a new test.

7News reports that the owner was suspended for charges that he allegedly accepted cash payments from students in exchange for a 'passing' test. Many of those affected are African immigrants.

Colorado requires prospective drivers to pass both written and vision screening tests. As a third-party tester, Sikiru "Ola" Fadeyi, the owner, was certified to administer all exams and provide students with all documentation needed to receive a license at the DMV.

Ola's Driving School website promised potential students "Guaranteed success!"
