A number of Continental Airlines pilots called in sick Wednesday, leading the airline to cancel dozens of flights.
Airline officials told Click2Houston.com that 21 flights have been canceled, mostly out of the New York area. New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport, just outside New York City, is one of Continental's hubs.
