Madonna, Gaga, Selena, Speers...they are all cash cows for the mundane entertainment industry. They last for a couple of seasons and then someone else like them replace them. It's all very controlled. There are a lot of Gagas out there that never get the industry backing and (thankfully) are never propelled into the limelight. There is only room for a couple at a time, otherwise no large profits to be made. What's more hilarious are that people really get emotional about this and that is what drives the industry to keep manufacturing these plastic people. When it's time for the used up ones to go away they sometimes don't go without a fight. Look at the music industry as a whole and you can not find much that is different - it's cookie cutter madness.

This Gaga rodent is nothing but a cheap, 2.0 Madonna wannabe. It's one thing to be "influenced by", but it's another to impersonate -- and that's what she does; impersonate Madonna. Gaga has no discernible style or swagger that's uniquely her. It's pathetic.

Love Gaga and love her boldness, eccentricity and individuality -- no one has ever had an "original" idea in this world. We all copy what we have seen and heard and assimilated from our homes, cultural upbringing, country and area we live, the media, etc. and come up with our own angles and twists on things. On this rock of 7 billion people, there is room for both Madonna and Lady Gaga and they are both great.

false. evryone can be influenced. but there's a difference between ingluence and specifically re-doing what someone else did without any originality whatsoever in your approach.

I like both Gaga and Madonna, but I do have to admit that Gaga seems more like Madonna every day.

Not that that's a bad thing, mind you. The Material Girl is still the queen bee as far as I'm concerned. Gaga's just the new princess.
