Mike Kelly attended the University of Notre Dame on a football and academic scholarship. And I don't expect any liberal to understand a sport event type pep talk. So don't be frighten, and wet on yourself, because he didn't mean it literally..................I mean really..Cmon!

A lifetime of being a used car salesman has left an impression on Mike. Oh wait, it was new cars? Well that's obviously just so much classier.

Dear Washington...America is known as the "Land of Opportunity", in large part due to the 'investments' of those who came before...those who built, protected, fought for, and paid into making our natural resources, transportation and utility systems, educational systems, judicial systems, public librarys and museums, and safe, strong communities available to all. Lately, too many who have benefited most from those opportunities, are trying to shut down and defund all that make it possible for others to 'work hard, get an education, and live the American Dream'.....because they feel that those that are 'behind' do not deserve the same opportunity....and because they do not want to pay for the benefits they themselves enjoy, or to provide and ensure that they will remain strong for the future. I am tired of the selfishness and greediness and childishness that is holding back growth and progress in this country. We have a 'debt....PAY IT. We have a duty to invest in the future of our people....Do It NOW. This country's security lies in freedom and health and opportunity for all - THAT is what keeps us safe...not bullets and bombs, prisons, or endless wars. Spend our treasure wisely. Stop acting like children.

"Not bullets and bombs". Tell this to the people of Asia, and Europe just after 1936.

'bullets and bombs' become neccessary only when arrogance, selfishness and greed are granted control over populations that give in to propoganda and fear..... weapons and war are merely the 'treatment'.......education and opportunity for all is the 'cure'
