Uniqlo-Sponsored High-Line Roller Rink Opens Today

High-Line Roller Rink OPEN

Strap on your skates New York-- the High-Line roller rink is open!

Located directly underneath the High-Line at West 30th Street and 10th Avenue, the Uniqlo sponsored High-Line Rink has its ribbon-cutting ceremony today, according to New York 1, offering up 8,000 square feet of open-air roller skating.

Admission's $10 for children under age 13 and $12 for adults. Don't have skates? Admission includes a pair of rentals!

Think you might get hungry from all the rolling around? The neighboring Lot offers up a rotating series of the city's favorite food trucks. There's also beer and wine bar at The Lot on Tap, next door.

It's open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m Thursday through Saturday. The music selection is Top 40/Disco/Techno except on Saturday nights when they toss in some R&B to make things interesting for couples enjoying Rolling At The High-Line (ages 21 and up).

So get out there New York! It's only open until September 26th!

And let's all hope the grand opening looks a little something like Xanadu's:
