Charlie Sheen Tweets: I 'Loved' Denise Richards' New Book

Charlie Sheen: I Loved Denise's New Memoir!

Charlie Sheen hasn’t always had the nicest things to say about ex-wife Denise Richards. In fact, he’s publicly called her insulting names while onstage during his “Torpedo of Truth” tour and during various interviews earlier this year.

But now it looks like the actor, who is the father of two of Richards’ young daughters, is changing his tune.

“#HotMomma #KeepItInTheFamily @Denise_Richards Your book rocks!!” Sheen tweeted Friday. “Never thought I’d say it… but loved it D..!”

Richards recently released a new memoir, The Real Girl Next Door, chronicling her divorce from Sheen, how she dealt with her mother’s cancer battle and her struggle to raise her daughters on her own.

“The book isn’t so much about telling my side of the story,” Richards told The Huffington Post's Rob Shuter. “I’m not trying to change perception or anything like that. I wanted to do something inspirational for other people going through challenging times.”

But for those looking for some Sheen-bashing in the book, her book isn’t the place.

“I still care for [Sheen] very much and want him well...he’s a survivor and if anyone can pull themselves together, it’s Charlie,” Richards told Matt Lauer on “The Today Show."
