After previously giving just a sneak peek, LOVE has debuted all eight of its "Super Natural" covers, featuring an array of ethereal models and actresses in tears.

46-year-old original supermodel Kristen McMenamy, Mariacarla Boscono, Daphne Groeneveld and Lara Stone sat for Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, as well as Nyasha Matonhodze, who previously appeared on a preview cover for this sixth issue of the magazine.

Rounding out the tearful bunch are the barely pubescent faces of Elle Fanning, Chloe Moretz and Hailee Steinfeld.

Why all the tears? LOVE editor Katie Grand writes in the Editor's Letter that the inspiration for the ocver was a search for innocence. Of the child actress trifecta, Grand explains:

"...We were fascinated by that lack of inhibition and the power that freedom from self-consciousness can bring. Normally such qualities are at their strongest in the young, which is how we arrived at putting three youthful actresses on our cover - the three, we think, who are most likely to remain level-headed amid all the inevitable success which awaits them in their future careers."

As for the rest of the eclectic bunch?

"It was this search for innocence which prompted us to call in five of our favourite models and strip them of all cosmetic contrivance, their faces untouched except for their own tears, following the Romantics' belief that beauty is truth and truth, beauty."

So who does the best beautiful sad face -- Babyface Hailee? Covergirl Lara? Newcomer Nyasha?

Take a look below and pick your fave.

Why do you insist on referring to Kristen McMenamy as the 46-year-old supermodel? You can just use her name when talking about her rather than repeatedly bringing up her age like she is some kind of circus freak.

I think it's because the industry never uses models past a certain age. It could be a good thing - someday a model's age could be irrelevant... but who knows.

It's very Alexander McQueen to me. Speaking of which, if you love fashion and happen to be in NYC any time soon, I encourage you to go to the Metropolitan and see the McQueen exhibit. Almost brought me to tears, for real.

Nice lookin chicks. I bet that about 50,000 teen-aged girls just blew their lunch in the crappah after seeing how nice and thin they are. Next time you see someone who looks annarexick, just tell them, "looks like you've put on a few pounds". It will have the same effect as these magazines and HP does on teen-aged girls.

Are they crying because their hungry?

Why would anyone purchase a magazine that even makes the cover model cry?

The dead bird hat is great, reminds me of the shoe hats of the late 80's. These girls have beautiful faces, but the bodies are just too thin. As much as I like good fashion and beautiful clothes and beautiful people, its a sad commentary on how shallow our culture can be.

I think Chole Moretz had the best cover. But they are all good in their own artistic way.

The first girl looks a little hungry to me tho.

A bad idea poorly executed. Honestly, how long are we going to keep celebrating people who create this aesthetically dead soulless garbage?

lack of inhibition and self consciousness comes with age and is akin to wisdom.

If what this Shallow Mag editor who is peddling her wares said were true it would mean we get Worse and not Better with age. My Grandparents are really cool, cooky, free spirirts. My friends in their 20s while attractive all have hang ups, do things to excess and are too depressed to enjoy their youth and beauty.

I would like to know why, from the editors and the writers at Huffpost, this is in their opinion an article that we should be commenting on. Why should we be voting? Where is the button for none of the above without a better explanation of what it is that they are trying to promote, and how they have educated themselves, the readers, the models on how and what they will be educating the public about...If this is just about fashion, then I happen to agree with the posters that pointed out that this is something that panders to those who are most likely to abuse our young women and children and those who do not have the chance to become informed and thereby allowd to protect themselves a little better...But all that we are offered here is the opportuinty to vote on a cover, purposes and reasons and meaning unknown...Doesn't sound safe or healthy or respectful of others' rights and needs or equality to me...
