British Airways Uniforms Through The Years (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: British Airways' Uniforms Through The Years

As part of Vintage Festival, a three-day homage to all things old held in London's South Bank Centre, British Airways displayed a collection of flight attendant uniforms spanning from the 1930s to the present.

The catwalk show highlighted some past favorites, including a paper dress from the 1960s worn exclusively on flights from New York to the Caribbean.

Flight attendants have hit the runway before: Virgin Blue flight attendants (accompanied by Elle Macpherson) hit the catwalk to show off the airline's latest uniforms, designed by "Project Runway"'s Juli Grbac.

BA's show was just the latest event to highlight vintage uniforms. Last winter, Seattle's Museum of Flight put together a retrospective of flight attendant uniforms over the years.
