Rob Ryan Trash Talks Eagles: Cowboys Coordinator Says 'We're Going To Beat Their Ass'

Cowboys Coordinator Trash Talks Eagles

Rob Ryan is known by most as Rex Ryan's more scraggly looking twin brother who also coaches in NFL. But Ryan, recently proved that although he doesn't really look like his brother, they most definitely have the same mouth.

Rob, who is the new defensive coordinator of the Cowboys, didn't exactly mince words when describing his thoughts on the division rival Eagles. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Ryan told reporters that he was happy with the Cowboys free agency additions of defensive ends Marcus Spears, Kenyon Coleman and Jason Hatcher even if the additions weren't as heralded as those made by the Eagles.

"These are proven players, and that's what we need," Ryan said of the players. "I don't know if we win the all-hype team, I think that might have gone to somebody else, but we're going to beat their ass when we play them."

It doesn't take a linguistics expert to deduce that Ryan was taking a shot at the Eagles with his statement. Philadelphia added multiple Pro Bowlers to the roster through free agency last week, including Nnamdi Asomugha, who reportedly was targeted by the Cowboys during free agency.

The Cowboys will play the Eagles for the first time this season on October 30th in Philadelphia.
