Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum Opens Up In Star's Birthplace (VIDEO)

A museum dedicated to the life of Arnold Schwarzenegger has just opened in his home town of Thal in southern Austria. The museum has numerous items from his body building career, his work in movies and even a copy of the desk he used as governor of California.

The director of the museum, Peter Urdl told Time that Schwarzenegger "was especially proud of his old bed made of steel tubes where he used to lay and dream his dreams." The museum opened for Schwarzenegger's 64th birthday on Saturday, and is located in the childhood home he lived in from 1947 to 1966. His family lived in the first floor flat without electricity and running water.

Body building is a large component of the museum, with key displays of trophies, dumbbells and other fitness equipment on view. There are also props and replicas from Schwarzeneggers films "Terminator" and "Conan the Barbarian."
