Lindsay Lohan's 'Gotti' Role Not Locked Down, Actress Still In Talks With Producers

Casting for this Gotti movie is harder to nail down than the man himself was.

Days after Joe Pesci apparently called it quits via a lawsuit on the upcoming Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father comes word that Lindsay Lohan is not yet locked in to her role.

No savvy producer would wager his film on her...except for pre-film publicity. And then you quietly unload her. And what bonding company would guarantee the film's completion with her aboard? Bad bets all around.

god-willing, the producers will find someone else to cast in whatever role they are considering her for. gotti sounds to me like it'd be right up my alley. at the same time, i refuse to support any film that has lohan in it. i'm sure i'm not the only one.

She already claimed to have the larger role of Victoria, was kicked from that and then begged to be in the movie and was apparently granted the possibility of the smaller role. The fact that they haven't decided to cement the deal with her yet doesn't look good for her.

Keep in mind that Ms. Lohan was kicked from the Victoria Gotti role months ago, and given the role of John Jr. wife which is a small role with only a few days of shooting (so not a big insurance risk).

The role, from what has been reported requires nudity (a topless scene).

Ms. Lohan has been telling the press recently that she doesn't want accept roles that require nudity.

It appears that the producer is announcing that he will accommodate her request, and not use her if she won't accept the job as offered.
