As a Christian, I fast a full 24 hours, which tripped me out as a kid because I actually learned the concept of fasting from Muslim friends so I had no Idea why I couldn't eat when the sun set during my family's fasting periods lol.
Happy Ramadan to all! Fasting for me builds patience, & I hope it does the same for anyone who participates this month.
Oh & Huffpo, I hope you take the time to give attention to the specific holidays of the specific faith's come winter time & not just give them a generic "Happy Holidays" post. I don't think that'd be fair :)

#RamadanTip: Let us fast from thinking negatively, from obsession, from despair & from not loving our self - http://huff.to/r2xv3y
